As I no longer have the boat I developed this for I am no longer selling Parts, Kits, or PCBs.
Strictly speaking you don't need the PCB's to build the PowerTroll. My original was built epoxy'ing parts to perf board and hand
wiring. Worked fine. But it was big, ugly, fragile and took me forever to build
and debug. It may be you are a better craftsman than I (wouldn't take much)
but
I doubt you want to go that route when you can get PCB's for cheap!
You do need a unique serial number for every
PowerTroll. This serial number is entered into the controller EEProm when the
controller is assembled. The purpose of the serial number is to ensure wireless
access is to the correct controller. A unique serial number is provided with
every PCB set I sell. If you build your PowerTroll on your own PCBs or perf boards
just send me an email and I'll reply with a unique serial number you can use.
These serial numbers aren't rocket science - you can make one up yourself easy
enough, but suppose someone near you picks the same one? You haven't lived
till you've watched two boat accidentally controlling each other's outboards! A
true 'who's on first' experience!
I get a good price break on PCB's buying in quantity so I can
sell them for $25 a set (plus s/h) and I usually have them ready to go when I
get your order.

I also sell the PCB's as part of a 'kit' - the
yellow
highlighted items on the parts list for $50, but I haven't been selling many kits and
may not have any in stock when you order. Honestly, my pricing on the rest of
the parts is OK but not great; the reason you'd buy a kit is the convenience.
